Simple-Peach-Bodycon-Turned-Peplum Dress

I have been writing in HubPages for a few weeks now, and I have found to my dismay, that I cannot publish all my patterns there for fear of being flagged for duplicate content. So, in order to share my patterns, I made this blog just for Barbie Doll Crochet Clothes.

This pattern is inspired by my original Bodycon Dress. Because of the popularity of the peplum form, I added some ruffles at the waist.

The pattern that you can find here is similar to the form in the original Bodycon Dress, but the stitches are changed to match the ruffles better.

This dress was made specifically for Barbie Basics (or Model Muse). For more information on different body types, visit Crocheting Clothes for Barbie.

Materials:
Size 10 crochet cotton thread
No. 1 steel hook or size needed to obtain gauge
3 small snaps or velcro

Gauge:
10 sc = 1", 11 sc rows = 1"

Notes for Pattern:
ch = chain
sl st = slip stitch
sc = single crochet
dc = double crochet
sc2tog = sc the next 2 sts together
inc = work 2 sc in the indicated st
sk = skip

  1. Sweet design. Thank you for tips as I have the old fashion big chested Barbie. They look great as I had a lot of undressed doll after having 4 girls.
